Outlaw has been putting its unique spin on craft shows and pop-ups since September 2013. If you fancy a quick look back at what we’ve done before and what went down then this is the place to be! Here goes…
Outlaw Summer Market // Falmouth // 11 – 16 August 2015
It was a 6 day celebration of all that is artisan and handmade. From 11th to 16th August we had a marquee full of the best local designer-makers and food and drink producers showcasing their amazing products. While outside we had live music, delicious street food and Summer Breeze bar. It was the perfect place to while away an hour or two in the summer sun.
Outlaw Food & Drink Festival // Falmouth // 8 – 10 August 2015
Our first fabulous pop-up Food and Drink Festival kicked off Falmouth Week, right in the centre of Falmouth town centre. We had amazing local food and drink producers showcasing the best Cornwall has to offer. Plus tasty grub from street food vendors and a beautiful summer chill out bar.
Outlaw Artisan Craft Show // Bristol // 2 & 3 May 2015
In May things got serious… we left Cornwall for the uber creative hotspot of Bristol!
This time we setup up shop in the incredibly grand Passenger Shed (a Brunel masterpiece) right in the centre of town with over 80 exhibitors, a demo theatre (with full AV setup), make & take theatre, makers in residence, supplier zone, live music, cafe area and a whole lot more… It was an awesome day out for anyone with a crafty bone in their body!
Outlaw Christmas Market // Falmouth // 11 – 13 December 2014
The cold nights were fast approaching so we donned our festive jumpers and took Outlaw to Falmouth for an all together Christmassy affair.
In a new ‘pop-up’ style we took 30 hand picked makers from across Cornwall and plonked them right in the centre of Falmouth town centre (with a marquee for shelter) and we were amazed that over 10,000 people passed through our rather festive marquee to stock up on Christmas goodies and grab a mince pie at the same time too!
Outlaw Craft Fair // Penzance // 1 November 2014
We were back to Penwith College just a few months later, shoe horning even more awesome makers in to the fair for an all round better crafty day out. With plenty of live music, tasty grub and 60 beautiful makers… what’s not to love.
Thankfully over 1500 of you agreed and it was another great success for Outlaw… woohoo!
Outlaw Craft Fair // Penzance // 5 April 2014
We had a new venue, in the rather modern Penwith College and plenty of mist (but what else would you expect from a British Spring time!?).
This time we had more space for makers, workshops and demos… and to our surprise (once more) 1200 people turned up to discover beautiful handmade wares from 50 local artists and designers.
Outlaw Craft Fair // Penzance // 13 September 2013
Our very first Outlaw event took place at the imposing St Johns Hall in all its fading glory. To our great surprise, after months of planning at our kitchen table, over 500 people turned up to check out 30 hand-picked local makers with our unique twist of demos and workshops on the side!
We had queues of people out the door and lots of very happy crafty folk… Outlaw was born!
